Personally I don't see why a low pass is so bad. It can only improve the sound quality. What ever the evil of an inductor or phase change or extra resistance from the inductor is bound to be much less audible than woofer breakup. Even on a paper cone driver built for this application, there's bound to be some non linearity getting through. |
