The speakers you have should work fine with the Lepai but will be light in the bass. Personally, I think they will be a good match with the Lepai. If the drivers you have have the transformer connected you would have to remove them so you can connect the wires from the amp to the + and - of the drivers. In the box you have, you will have to divide the cabinet in half internally so the two drivers have their own space. I don't think any of the drivers mentioned will have significantly more bass (if any at all) in the cabinet being used.

but you think it would sound fine?
If i did 6" speakers would it sound better? Will the box work better seal or better with a hole? Also, on a new note i am using a 12v lead acid battery to power everything, what cord will i need to hook it up to the amp power outlet? Last edited by solly98; 26th November 2012 at 09:20 PM. |

Adding onto the Q's in the previous post, if i turn it all the way up will i blow the speakers...my friends might do it if i leave it around, and i dont want the speakers to blow...
