Disadvantage for place the Fostex 168e sigma into Fostex 166e BLH enclosure ?

Hi ALL

I would like to build a BLH speaker.

I did not have sufficient tools and places for it.

but I just found the yahoo in my place has 1 set of Fostex FE166en cutted woods.

however, in my country. the prize of FE166en and FE168e sigma are close.

I have check the size, the FE166en enclosure can place the FE168e sigma.

but It seems that the datas are so different. Is the chamber design from FE166e has significant disadvantage ?

FE166en FE168e sigma
Qms 3.426 5.328
Qes 0.226 0.27
Qts 0.25 0.26
Vas 37.2L 23.7L

I would like to ask for suggestions to stay FE166en or replace it with FE168e sigma.

The are very similar in TS parameters, they should work equally well in the BLH. So it is down to what driver you prefer.

FE168eS has been successfully installed in Austin A166, so i'd suggest, as Dr Boar has already, that you should be fine.
