Default Is there a good vintage driver with 100-102db eff with flat mid response?

I'm putting this in full range section cause I think these are mostly used as broadbanders.

So what I'm after is fast (good transients), tonally rich (thing of Saba GC), linear on at least 200-1.5k and very efficient vintage driver.

I need at least 100db on OB or U frame, 102db perfect.

I really don't know if there's such a driver at all. Most I know are between 95 and 98db.

Also it would be even better if it could lower but 200 is also fine.

The driver is needed for a particular experiment, to see if such a driver can provide rich and more colorful reproduction on voices coupled with Beyma TPL-150 above.

I would hazard a guess that there is no such driver that meets your requirements. Sorry.

This one is sortof close. I have not used it and it may sound horrific. Just a suggestion for you to think about.

You could hunt for a JBL D130.

i will have a pair of JBL 2123. it looks wonderful on graphs and is flat at the range with 100db eff.

i do have a new generation driver that fits the bill - audax pr170m0.

though, i hoped to find something truly vintage, saba, siemens, telefunken.

The list could go on and on but look here: US SPEAKER - 12" Speakers - 12" bass speakers & 12" guitar speakers by Eminence Speaker, JBL, EV, RCF, Beyma, Peavey, Celestion, P.Audio, Ampeg, Crate, Jensen, Fane and Pyle. 12" bass speakers & 12" guitar speakers. Find the right 12" woofer here.

Maybe you could search for 12ex speakers like fertin or others that make field coil speakers, a dream for OB builders(at a price)
