Actually i prefer 2-way speakers, like large lf drivers and large boxes.
But there is something very special with fr drivers, larger ones that can deliver real lf to are sparse, i havent heard any since Coral Beta 10 and Beta 8, these are unobtaiable today.
Stumbled on this tiny one when working on the quite large Experience Live cinema speaker project.

So, what to do whit this one then?
Test it to find out how it sings.
Quick and dirty, glue it to one end of a large russian toiletpaper core.
Sound below a normal A awfull or nonexisting, but above that, really astonishing.
What do we do then?
Rear loaded horn? Why not!
Maybe like this?

Yes Niklas, i think absorbing feet is good for the Oy speakers, i´ll send You a set.
Woah, that's very kind of you!
Having listened to the Hildinghorns during weekend i find them extremely fun
and lifelike, tremendous slam and attack in midbass.
Very nice top, feel no need for an aditional hf unit.
Think i must try the extension of this project too.
8 drivers in line, slightly longer hornpath.

Nice build! The response is pretty good IMO, comlete with BBC-dip!
I have wondered before about such "coaxial mouth" horns, rather envisioning it as a square box with peripheral mouth, your way is probably easier and just as good.
I'd like to try something for the 4FE30 sometime.

Redrawn a bit to accomodate for larger chamber.
hey, there is very simple way to make the load chamber bigger
namely by using the space you havent used
and even more if you make the 'box' squared
would probably leave enough space to place small sub drivers on the back
or on the sides, if you prefer that
a lot of wasted space you could make use of
but a lot of wood and might get a bit heavy
