Yes, the EL70 was "discontinued" - or more accurately, it took rather longer to develop the traction amongst DIYers that Bob Reimer at CSS had hoped for and he decided not to commit to production of another batch.
Depending on your location, there may still be some available through resellers - contact Dave via the Planet10 commercial forum, I think he's got a good idea about current levels.
