Size wize, more like the A5 and the (mythical) A15. There were 100 Alpair 10 Basswide made (we are working a pair in MJK's rear loaded horn). Still, size is much the same as JX92.

I've got a pair of the old metal cone Omnes BB3AL units (rebadged Veravox 3) in a pair of vented wooden wine-bottle boxes my friend Kurt made. Nice little driver, pity it's defunct. Still use them in my office.

Yep. A good idea, but certainly not a new one, now masqurading under that loathsome 'FAST' (give me strength) moniker.

What once was old is again new.

There isn't one of those either. There is a CHBW-70 4in model though. The MA model names indicate their size BTW; it's taken from nominal cone diameter in mm.

IINM there was an Alpair10 Bass Wide (several years ago) - Dave may even have even have a pair?

Ah yes, of course. I don't think many ever emerged. Shame.

You can check out a few other things audio in Hong Kong too.
In fact my job (and girlfriend :-) ) regularly bring me to Hong Kong so yes indeed, a visit to MarkAudio may be possible. I do know that there is a very special, unique even, shop here in Singapore that next to their own tube amps also sell empty cabinets, but then it will be a matter if the volume corresponds to a reasonable tuning.
