Default Alpair 12P arrival!

Hello,

It's been a while since I've had a driver this large as my mains. I have been using the Alpair 7.2 for sometime in a OB configuration with subwoofers and have been very happy, though I must admit a few more decibels and wider dynamic swings will be very welcome amongst other wonderful things

Here are photos of Alpair7.2's and 12P's with a pack of cigarettes to give you size differences, also I must admit these have some girt for a full range 8" driver!

I'm looking at solid Walnut for OB baffles.

Ramon

Nice
Do let us know how it turns out.
With pics of the end result, of course.

Defintely, I will share OB design here in "Box Country" Actually I will be able to hear a box as well. I think my friend Phil is going to love this driver and build boxes which I will hear, looking forward too this.

Anyone finished breaking their A12p's in yet?

Yeah,

Your likely right but from breaking in the Alpair 7.2's after 100 hours they were finished doing most of there business and changes after that were minute. Granted, bigger voice coil, longer break in, regardless looking forward too hearing what other members think of there sound.
