Default My New Audio Nirvana Drivers

I purchased 1 pair of Super 10 Neodymium and 2 pairs of Super 15 Cast Frame
Quite happy so far. Better than seas fullrange
More to come.
Here is a picture of a couple, playing on the floor

Off topic: I also have a pair of Radian compression drivers that arrived that I need to play with

What enclosures do you plan on?

Which Radian CD did you get? I strongly considered the 475PB when looking for a quality 1" unit, but finaly went with BMS 4550.

I will build up open baffles first, then try the Fonken for the 10"
Then try something else after that

I got the Radian 475pb. I am just trying to have a listen to them now. They are absolutuely huge. The magnet is about the size you would see on a 5 inch woofer

Here is a picture of the radian. To give you a sense of the size of the magnet that is a 15" woofer in the background.
Just trying to wire them up now

I am having fun experimenting with every permutation possible, just because it is fun.

I'm eager for your opinion on the an15 with comparisons to other full range drivers.

It is early days, but just listening to them on the floor they are better than Seas FR. They are more detailed, more dynamics, more air. I feel they even sound better than the Super 10 neodymium. I will build up open baffle today.

awesome. What dimensions on the Open baffle ?

I may need to get a pair. I'm in a new place with paper thin walls. I'm looking at wood for phy style OB. That an15 looks like best option for me as I don't need dispersion and can run a sub for movies........

I like the sound of impact, and 15's do that for me.
