they're closed this week.

I'm thinking just 1 driver for now (needed a timing chain).
This is the wood I'm looking at.

Probably double thickness for the face, and single for the wings, should be HEAVY.

Yeah my birch is from Russia too.
Got mine from Plyco in Australia
I went with 30mm for the baffle

i actually have, but they sounded horrible... maybe i should listen to them in another orientation. i just placed them on my desk, flat on their backs. One, actually. didn't hear anything wortwhile

When did you get them?
It does not make much sense that you are not hearing anything worthwhile.
They are significantly better than the 10"s which are better than the 8"s, and there are a lot of people that love the 8"s.
What music are you listening too?
