+1 on talaert's suggestion of the FF125WK in a small vented box for nearfield monitor

or, did anyone yet mention the CSS EL70?

here's a Behringer 2031p vs a Nirvana Super10 stamped frame at ~3feet indoors. fwiw a good concentric setup is a good thing - I get good results from Eminence which have 80->109oz magnets. If things aren't ok on the crossover, then one can have problems. Alpair's 12p might make a nice monitor

AN10 - no compensation = bright/rough sound/graph, Behringer - good graph
crappy sound - at least to my old ears - droning bass, incoherent on piano
