if they're not expensive , you can't loose anything

proper an honest speakers , not overly detailed but certainly easy on ear

try to find more here Home

Those look like they have that almost irredescent wooven cloth dustcap. The few pairs of drivers i have had with those were all good.

These dew drivers are gold , try not to burn them out , seems like original air dried light felted paper cone , very difficult to come by these days .

DEW (Deutsche Edelstahlwerke AG) was the manufacturer of the magnet
(Part of DWE was Magnetfabrik Dortmund Aplerbeck).
Today its "Tridelta" and still produces magnets.
Maybe the driver was used in the DUAL CL112?

Yes, I think it is Dual peaker. I will buy this drivers and try to do somthing with them. Probably best way is to build OB. Do this driver need support in LF and HF. For start I will just put them in OB and try to see what will I get in sound quality.

Could these drivers be compared to some modern one? These are 8" and rated to 11 WAT.

It is still big mistery because I will get them based on your opinions.

THANKS to all for great help.
