In th eHybrid and the Voigt pipe driver position from th eend of the pipe is very important so it cannott be moved vertically. The miniOnken in the set does not have this restriction.

No. And if you are putting them on the wall, no need to even think about the BSC some like to add.

I’ve not heard the FE85, but the somewhat similar FR88ex is a driver i’d put into the 2nd teir of small FRs i’ve tried.

Are you going to mount these on the wall?

Hello Dave, how is the bass response for FE85 in the folded Voigt? Does it need any passive componet, BSC, etc?

I’ve not heard or seen the FE85. The folded voigt was a long time ago. FE88ex, bass is decent for a 3”. The fellow who owns them now really likes them.
