scored a set of these as payment for helping a friend clean his garage. the drivers seem fine, no audible VC scraping noises on the 12 and 8". the built in crossover/"brightness" dial network is dead on one speaker.
was really thinking about scrapping the enclosures completely [the rear panel is OSB and flaking badly] and maybe building an H-frame or OB. anyone have experience with these? the 8"mid and 12" woofer are supposed to be alnicos. will post pics when i find my SD card for camera. thanks edit: pics as promised Last edited by NotWisely; 2nd April 2012 at 02:36 AM.
