Just wanted to share my new speakers and say thanks to the community. This is my second pair of full range speakers. The first pair were supposed to be a build of Zilla's 3 cu ft slotted boxes with the Bofu speakers. I messed up and built the boxes too big, but they were still the best speakers I had heard.
I then bought a pair of Fe206's and put them in the existing boxes while waiting to build the next set of speakers. It took a long time, but I finally finished them. I was amazed that the fostex speakers sound balanced now a opposed to bright.
They are everything I hoped for sound wise thanks to you guys and visually thanks to my wife who put tons of work in on them.
I saw a post recently about whether the big boxes were really worth it. I say a resounding yes! I do want to build some open baffles one day too though.
