Help Powering Passive Monitors for Studio, knowledge bomb wanted

Hello All!

I am just getting into music production and have a set of speakers I really like that I would like to use as my studio monitors.

They came from a Phillips mini-hifi system, the cd player in it and other items went bad so now I have these speakers.

I need someone to drop a knowledge bomb on me since I am very new to hi-fi and audio.

My goal is to get the most out of these speakers as my studio monitor set.

What would be perfect to power these?

what you have my friend is junk. not close to "studio" quality... anyhow..

Lepai Tripath TA2020 Class-T Hi-Fi Audio Amp w/Power Supply 310-300

would be cheap and on par with those speakers..
