full range driver recomendation

hi fellow diy,ers

i,m after some advice on a suitable full range driver to use as a mid driver in a 3 way old style bookshelf speaker (think 70,s )

the bass driver is this http://www.d-s-t.com.au/data/Vifa/NE315W-04.pdf

the tweeter is this http://www.scan-speak.dk/datasheet/pdf/d2905-990000.pdf

the fullrange driver will be replacing a scan 18w8531g which sounds great but just does not seem to have the special something i,m looking for

the system will be run via my mini dsp,mini digi,icepower asx125 and aleph 60 clone

my budget is $300 per driver ,fostex f120a perhaps ?

any advice would be greatly appreciated

yaaay!

just bought some veravox 7x from solen(could,t help myself)

i hope they will work in this project

any advice ??

They still have stock? I thought Veravox went under a good couple of years ago!
I had two pairs of the Veravox 5S, they were something special!

Are the 7X with the Acrylic Phase Plug?
I seem to remember that the 7X have a higher Qts, so may work well in OB

solen have the 7x on speacial with 4 pairs left

from the pics it seems to have the phase plug
