While building my T4 amp and modifying it with Jantzen Superior Z caps, I'm rebuilding my vintage Klipsch KG 4.2's. I ordered the Titanium domes at Bob Crites and the crossover caps too. The internal speaker wires are upgraded too in the whole prices. But I have a question cause I'd like to paint the cabinets piano white. Is it possible and easier to build new sleeker cabinets, cause they appeared to be pretty straightforward. No labyrinth or whatsoever. If I keep the volume exact the same will it alter the sound?
