I think of doing my own TQWT (folded), and was yesterday hunting for
the right driver. Now this is here, Bogotá-Columbia, not easy. There are 3-4 brands (china? India?) presents on the market, RPsound, supertone and Extreme sound. No clue, no spec, nothing in internet and nothing to get from the numerous sellers, only diameter, wattage and ohms. There's a 4th with name AS-american sound. AS exists in the web, selling mostly PA-speakers, and these have the same logo, but I am not sure these are not imitation. Is this possible, with a laptop, microphone and multimeter to find out at least the resonnanz freq of a speaker? The more serious brand is Soundking. There's at least a website soundking.com with some specs of the drivers. I found a coaxial driver. here the specs: http://www.soundking.com/html/Produc...Speaker___Driv er/5/2011/0212/378.html Coaxial 12' 8 ohm 250W 65-5000hz & 700-20000hz fs 50 hz 84 liters Vas Qts 0.34 Is this driver ok for a tqwt (if no, which load would be better for this speaker)? Would it deliver honest bass at 32hz, or till which freq more/less? Thanks in advance |
