First build suggestions

Hi all,

I am considering doing my first diy build and would like some suggestions. I have been searching around and have found quite a few projects that look enticing but most are a few years old and I want to make sure I am not overlooking anything new. I have considered the Bob Crites CS-1.5, the Swan M1, along with a few others. My budget is $500 not including wood. I would like to keep the crossover fairly simple but am not too concerned with more intricate woodworking.

You need to give us a little more information. Room size, type of music, how loud, box size and placement would be good starting points.

FWIW, this particular forum is for single driver or single driver w/ bass augmentation (i.e. no crossover).

Sound like you want the multiway forum.
