Go active crossovers with some heavy duty woofers and big amplifiers. Example: Eminence LAB12. At least one woofer per side, crossover 200-500Hz - wherever the baffle step frequency is.
Add a +6dB switch to the woofers for party mode. Make sure you've got an infrasonic filter for when someone comes along and says "nice stereo - this'll test the bass out".
