Congratulations! Based on the Fostex drivers in my Metronomes I imagine they sound very nice! You have a few weeks before you start planning your next build!

Dave, thanks for the kind comments....and for creating the plans.
I am building a new preamp now, then maybe I want some speakers for when I get that kick *** rock feeling. Or maybe build some large woofers to use as bases for the BK 12's and an amp for the low end..... Does this ever end? Ralph |

I built my amp, a Zen4 about 5 years ago and am just getting back into the DIY thing. We spent some time traveling and just did not have space for all the junk as my wife calls it........She sure was entranced when i let her sit in the special spot and listen to her favorite songs last night....... maybe she will not call it junk any more.

"Does this ever end?" Only when every room is "set-up" for sound will the excuses be harder & harder to justify......If your wife calls it junk you will have an uphill battle. Perhaps your gear doesn't satisfy her esoterica ....Does you "junk" look a little too industrial looking? If so, you'll need to get a little( a lot) more esoteric about your gear. Your gear can't look like your lab.........Yes your lab gear probably looks like heaven to you, but for her it looks like.....junk.
Just sounding good won't cut it for the female gender...it needs to look the part also. Just my two cents, OK? __________________________________________________ ______Rick......... |

is that called a hall pass? just make each project prettier than the last, or divest them to single buddies, and it could years to get bored with your new hobby
