Lately I've been toying with a little SMSL SA-S3 and am quite impressed. These inexpensive little chip amps offer an absolutely tremendous value!
I've also been playing with a tpa3110 based sure board (a whopping $10) and am amazed at how much performance can be had for so little $$.
While they are not the be-all end-all of amplifiers, if you can ignore their lack of features, they really are great sounding little units. I'd be willing to guess you could fool many experienced listeners into believing they are listening to rather expensive pieces of kit.

Those drivers in the video aren't the 10p's. They are either 10.2's or 10.3's, most likely the former judging by the post date.

They are A10.2, Harley says he has a large stash of them.

Apologies for the OT enquiry - but has anyone tried the Hypex plate amps?
Or MiniDSP ones?
since this is the "what amp?" thread, not OT at all
Here is what I am using: an amp based on Audio Sector LM 3875 circuit boards with a 250va 18v transformer. Works ok for me.
I have similar (with Audio Sector case & a 225 VA trafo) in my office. A6.2p & EL70 are part of the cycle. Decent amp.

Embarrassing to say, not yet -actually it's becoming much more difficult for us to find the time to get any amp / preamps built - I'm personally becoming more "Brinseian"* in that regard - you want half a dozen small speaker enclosures by next weekend - no problem ; finish that tube amp rebuild sitting on my bench for the past 3yrs - oops, gotta go
