Hey guys,

I'm building a project that will transform an old console TV into a Jukebox for playing music at parties in a 3-car garage. I want it to have quite a bit of power so it can fill the large space.

My main limitation is that the opening on the front of the TV is only about 2.5" wide (but can be up to 16" tall). I have been considering using full range 3" or 4" drivers from parts-express matched to a pair of 8" woofers or a single 10" woofer and driving it with TA2020 or TK2050 amps.

The current speakers are 4"x6" paper cone full range. With the 2.5" opening, will I be better off with a 3" or 4" driver? Would I be better off with the higher power of the TK2050 to drive this pair? Any recommendations on actual drivers?

Thanks!
