I've been simming drivers on OB lately using XLbaffle. It was puzzling to me that the software doesn't ask for Qts rather determining it from Qes and Qms. I multiplied and divided these specs and still can't understand how Qes and Qms determine Qts... can someone offer and explanation?
Thanks! Zilla |

I think,
1/Qts = 1/Qes + 1/Qms or restated: Qts = 1 / [1/Qes +1/Qms] it's the same arrangement of factors as in parallel resistances and in series capacitors.

Qts = Qms * Qes / (Qms + Qes)
