Default Sachico vs Vulcan

I got a pair of FE206En and have planned to bulid a pair of Sachico, but since the Sachico 2 isn't released(ready) I've looked a bit at Vulcan(Woden Design).
Have anyone listened to both? Which is the better of the designs?

...not those, but had the Hiro and am currently working on the Victor, can't say when i'll complete the project. Been shopping around for tiger maple veneer but the prices i'm finding have been ridiculously cost prohibitive. I haven't put the Baltic Birch plywood pieces together because then i wouldn't be able to put a junk veneer on the inside surface. I was taught the correct way to veneer is to do both sides of the wood for = pressure on both to counter warping.

For veneering solid wood maybe, but for BB I can't imagine that would be a problem....of course, you still need to veneer the inside faces of the horn parts before assembly either way.

To echo mp9, our experience was with the smaller Saburu vrs protoMaeshowe (the one that lead to Valiant), the rear-firing horn was better.

Really, if that's true i'll continue working on them this weekend. It's rear firing, inside faces are in the back so the birch or even black paint will do.
