Default Bigger is Better help ?

Have any of you guys tried to floor load these
placing the opening at the bottom front of the enclosure.
In my thinking it would increase bass and allow to pull them
away from corners and out into the room for better imaging as well.
any thoughts

FWIW, all my large pipe horns [aka BIB now] were floor loaded 12" -15" wide BW woofers, so choose whatever tuning you think will work well and either use the mouth/floor gap to fine tune them or use the theoretically optimum reflex vent area = Sd regardless of base area [Sm] as I did.
