Tang Band W8-1808 / TB ribbon tweeter / Eminence Alpha 15A in OB with U-frame

Tang Band W8-1808 is a good sounding fullrange driver. It will be the "heart" in my open baffle project. The tweeter will assist from ca the 13-14K area. The woofer at 200 hz and down to 32 hz according to MJKs receipe.

I have a DBX driverack PA active crossover. Then i can experiment until i have the perfect values. My equipment is: Audio Note M2 and Bryston BP25 preamps. Power amps are Rotel 2x100 watt class-D and 3 x First Watt: F4 + F4 + F2J.

The baffle material will be 38 mm oak from IKEA: http://www.ikea.com/no/no/catalog/products/80123672

It will be cutted with CNC

You should look into making a notch to lower the +5db in the 1808 between 1.5khz and 3.5khz. If anything, my ears want this area to be -3db to -6db. Just my opinion (like aholes, we all have them).
