A cool concept to clone with small FR drivers...

Gentlemen,

What do you think of:

Elipson - Sound Tree

To me it looks like something cool to clone, and using it for example around the dining table.

don't waste your time, you can do much better.

It is like a Geneva system with long hair .
Just plug the attachments !!

Certainly looks do-able.

I think I'd turn the main unit (the bit that sits on the floor) into a subwoofer.

It is a sub , I think ...

Ah yes.

"Built in 8” driver sub-woofer for low frequencies"

I'd expect it to be decent for background music, but not so good for serious listening.

It's indeed not the best approach for serious listening, but I thought it could be nice above a dining table, or in a bedroom for example.
An extra sub will be needed indeed.

It would be one way to install a basic 5.1 HT system.

Before I saw the pictures, I imagined it as an actual artifical tree with the speakers hanging from the branches like fruit...
