If you fancy a top mounting supertweeter of the likes of the Fostex T90A but don't want to, or simply cannot justify or afford the price, then these wonderful and cheap tweeters by Mark Fenlon make a super cheap 'Frugal' supertweeter. Check out the specs. These have a usable Fr from 2.5KHz to 30kHz.
Here's one I made earlier using nothing more than a 3" postal tube, a couple of 5W resistors to make a L-Pad and a in-line polyprop cap as a simple filter. The cradle is made from a cheap broom handle and 6" nails!
