Enclosure suggestions
 
Hi all,

I have Audio Nirvana with box made from David suggestions.
I am really satisfy with it, can any one suggest me another best build enclosure for 10" Full range
I have 10" Audio nirvana supercast

you maybe need EQ...i dont know. This is an excellent cabinet for my 215Sig

Any cabinet will only act on the bass... it won't cut the harshness... unless you build some front horns. Anyway, you will need EQ if you want to cut the harshness. Running them in for a few hundred hours also seems to help. Or maybe you'll just get used to it :)

Add more stuffing to the enclosure (may help a little).
Sit off axis (may help a little).

But I really think the best improvement is.........
Get a 10 band equalizer.
Boost the bass (takes care of baffle step).
Lower the climb in the freq response (have you seen the graph at commonsense audio ?).


Jumping lights always impress people, availiable at most pawn shops for $40.
