Just curious as to why the Fostex RLH Hybrid designs are so poorly regarded in this forum? Any thoughts, anyone?

AFAIK the only Hybrid is for the FE126. We built it and the 1st yjing you start scheming about is fixing the fat floppy bass (what little there is). We quickly decided that once you were ther, you'd either need a diffrnt box, or if you went the added woofer route, you'd be bettr with a small sealed box for the FE126 would be a better starting point as it would reach down to wher the hybrid starts having probkms (~125-150 Hz).
In the big "bonfire" the cabinets burned nicely despite the sad loss of the BB used in them. dave

Hello,
i listen to it, colorations and by the Xmax of 0,35mm a very low dynamic, not a good construction, AFAIK Fostex did it not again.
