Default Supravox 215-2000 in a sachiko ?

Hi everyone,
this is my first time here so be patient/forgiving as you've probably seen loads of geeks like me before.
Basically I like sound, not from a technical point of view but a physical one. I like the sensation and emotion you can have with nothing but vibrating air since I'm 11 or 12 and this has led me into a long audiophile journey during which I've been gathering ideas, material and a perpetual thirst for new experiments.
I've owned for a while now a pair of Fe126e in a small vented box and at first, I didn't like them at all because I didn't know they were supposed to be broken in for ages.
As we moved from a flat into a new house, I had a new room for my daily work, which needed to be equipped so I pulled out the fostex from the closet and hooked'em to a Lyngdorf TDA2200 to make them a bit more linear.
There was no revelation as they were still not broken-in, but I listen to music all day long, every day, and something started to happen, that wasn't there before, and I listened more carefully.
A few weeks later I'm totally addicted and I've already ordered a pair of Saburo's from a German woodworker as I'm too lazy/busy to build'em myself.
Now the question is: as a true audiophile I'm always dreaming of the next project, even if the current one is unfinished. I own a pair of Supravox 215-2000 and I wonder if they would fit in a Sachiko enclosure ?
Any slight non-linearity could be corrected via the DSP's.
That's it, thanks if you've read so far.
Pierre-Antoine

Hello,
it would be an superb driver for a bass horn like my BASSTUBA, a need
of a serie LCR between 2-6 kHz, but for the normal DIY too high priced.

Well, my general rule is that a horn loading cabinet should have a driver with a low Q and large BL (powerful magnet). This is a gross oversimplification, but is something at least to get you started. Your driver appears to be in the ballpark, so perhaps it might be worth a try.

Hi
I'm now in contact with Scott as it seems the Supravox's and Sachiko's are a total mismatch. I'll be more than happy to share about the project if we give it a go.
