Default FE206ESR BLH enclosure?

Through a stroke of luck I was able to acquire a pair of FE206E and FE206ESR.

Now the big question: What does the collective wisdom say about the enclosure that is recommended for the ESR ? You can see the the plans for the enclosure here

Or should I wait for the build of the C-horn I am attempting in a few months?

Default BLH 206+206esr

Hello,
for such a double pair, i would prefer a double horn like my
SAXOPHON and RDH20 for max. SPL and best soundstage and lowest
membran movement.
Front driver the ESR and the invers back driver the 206,
take view on my HP

I helped a buddy of mine build a pair of the described Fostex BLH a few years ago. Well, since I only cut the materials for him and he completed the fabrication I definitely got the light duty - these are a pig to build. The unfortunate part is that they had more than a bit of coloration.

If you have another enclosure design in mind, I'd give the project some time to percolate in your imagination.

Hello,
"a bit of coloration" that why the presschamber and the first meter is made of the wrong material, in my case i use soft fibre until the 80´s, this stop colarations above ~100 Hz and specially above ~320 Hz because you reduce the 1 and 2 sound particle velocity

My bad I was unclear. I did not and do not intend to put them into the same enclosure. there will be one pair with the 206ESR and one pair with the 206E

Hello,
sorry,
may be my solution would be better than the standard Fostex,
if you look at the 206E measurement by selbstbau.de you see it is
difficult to fill it up to ~1000 Hz by the bass horn, and the baffel size will
reduce soundstage a lot.

I had my 206esr's in the Fostex 208 Sigma cabinet and thought they worked out quite well. Tried the regular 206 in them also, in fact I've had many different drivers in those 208 boxes and they all sounded good, even the little Dayton RS100.

Huh? I am sorry I missed that the first reading over it. Must have been the meds they put me on when I was half way successful cutting off my finger with the table saw.

What exactly are sounds particles? I didn't know that sound now has a dual nature just as light. Can you 'splain?

Maybe better in German: Ich war mir nicht bewusst dass sound jetzt auch partikel character ganz wie Licht hat. Was bitte sind "sound particle"?

Hallo,
