Default thiel co axial drivers

cd these be used in pairs? (per side) I take it there are no disadvantages with 2 tweeters.

Vertical lobing (ie, comb filtering off axis) could be an issue.

Leaving one of the tweeters disconnected, then playing with relative levels would probably do it.

From my limited understanding, these drivers have but a single voice coil. There is a mechanical crossover (visco-elastic coupling?) that joins the midrange to the tweeter. You can't drive one without the other.

combing lobing etc...wouldnt it be no different from using two full rangers per side? ie alpair 6s for example.

quite the revolutionary design - actually it looks like a very simple "suspension" with strategic compliance ( i.e. soft glue?) joining the main cone to what would be called a dust cap if more rigidly coupled

So, could x 2 drivers be used per side without issues?
I am assuming if positioned at the right height 2 drivers per side is still a point source (ie same distance from the ear)
