Default best 5 1/4" driver for a sealed box

cabinet has to be sealed and driver can be no bigger than 5 1/4". cabinet size is mildly flexible, but the smaller the better. application is studio monitoring... the same thing that this is intended for, only i am not restricted by size.

i have already used the fostex fx120 and fe127e... both good. but whats better? i am not expecting any miracles, i understand the restrictions... but whats the step up?

Maybe this TB... tho i never heard it. If top end is lacking maybe add a super tweeter on rear to retain the single driver look.

Just a suggestion.

The Alpair10.2 looks to work well in 5-7 litre sealed, but even thou it is a 5 1/4" driver the big bezel may eliminate it. CHR70 also works well sealed. From what i understand, i may have the only ones available thou.
