Hi all, I've just switched from a Goldring Elite mc (output of 0.5mV) to a Sumiko Blue Point Special Evo III mc (output 2.5mV) and I'm getting excessive cone flap.
Try a different setting on my phono stage (Jolida JD9) and triple check the tracking force on the cart.. are these the only things I can do to eliminate it? Is a subsonic filter more of a pain than a cure? will it colour the signal path further? Thanks Nathan |
