I have finished my CHR-70 TL's and couldn't be happier.
Although, I did have this idea of adding an internal partition to create a taper. The problem then would be the lost volume, at which point I began thinking about PMC's ATL config using a chamber at the end of the line. This could solve the volume issue and allow more response tuning potential!! I have MJK's worksheets but am no where near capable of simulating this sort of thing, (downloaded mathCAD yesterday). Soooo, who's keen to model this for me Cheers, Dean |

There's beauty in that speaker. IMO, true beauty is hard to acheive with cylindrical forms; You've done it.
Wish I knew MathCad and could help out |

Come on, I know the TL guys want to drop a few comments on this one!
I can put a removable panel in place, maybe with an option to close the second chamber or just stuff it heavily. I know I should really measure something then try something else but I have no measurement equipment ![]() I'm making headway with the worksheets, some meaningful results soon hopefully, has anybody written any sort of guide? Thanks Krist, they really do sound great and for the price/value ratio are the best/easiest thing I have ever done. Last edited by thunk303; 18th December 2010 at 06:40 AM. |
