As the title suggest i got a pair of Visaton B200 wich i havent done anything fun with yet. After i´ve read through a few threads here, OB would be a nice thing to try. However, and here is the "twist" part. I also got a pair of Mangerdrivers ( wich i use as my main speakers in a closed 2 way configuration ).
Would´nt it be quite interresting to pair these two drivers in a OB and see what happens ? Sure, the Visatons can manage fine on their own, from what i have read, but still So, where would be the most obvious place to start ? Dimensions ? Wings ? drawbacks ? Hit me with ideas Regards // Mattias

For huge baffles with wings rounded edges are advantageous (can easily done with ceiba bendable plywood). Would be fun to see where the ideal crossover point for a 6dB crossover is (kind of a fight between the Manger and the Visaton).

Hi,
The B200 sensistivity could be traded off for a smaller baffle with the Mangars before c/o to the bass proper, but otherwise its very hard to see them as a sensible combination. rgds, sreten.

Hello,
if you made a measurement of the Manger from the back, you won´t use it OB. i made in the 90´s the BASSTUBA with MAnger. If you couple the Manger with a B200 in a wide range you disturb the Step response, look Basstuba measurements on my HP. because of the data of the B200, it works best in a BL lowmid Horn, no parts up to 98 dB, + sub look my SCHALMEI, HORN, TRUMPET sat horns, and in my double horns SAXOPHON, RDH20 + invers 2nd driver feedback, measurements
