The NS3-193s are a decent price, but what I'm really curious about is whether anyone has built anything worthwhile with the cheap ones - the NS3-194s and the NS4s. Haven't found anything good on Google. bearberry |

Yup, cheap drivers. I never saw any of these before.
https://www.madisound.com/store/prod...oducts_id=8989 That one looks interesting. A couple do. At under $5 each i bet they sound good enough. Thanks for posting the link. |

these ones look almost too sexy to matter what they sound like
![]() but even on special clearance pricing, over $70 each

I agree Chrisb... that driver looks great, especially from behind!

The NS4-194-8A look pretty good. The frequency response looks too perfect and is probably hella-smoothed, but for this price, I might try a couple.

how do the 193, 194, the hivi b3s and any other super cheap (say below 15-20 bucks) drivers compare. i could go for some for computer speakers. any suggested good super cheap woofers or tweeters to pair with these.

Hi,
Some woofers have been added to the sales page. Godzilla and IG81, what designs are you considering for the NS4-194-8A. A BIB perhaps? bearberry |
