Hi all. I am building a pair of the angular spiral horns for use with the 166en. Early tests they seem quite shy on bass. I know those horns were designed for the 166e's so im wondering which direction do i need to go to get better bass. Do the cabinets need to be smaller, or larger or?? I am not such a wiz with understanding all the specs and how they affect the design of the cabinets.
Thank you |

Could it be that this design requires a circuit? That's fairly common. You might want to link to the design and perhaps others can comment on how it simulates.

Angular spiral
Here is the speaker i am referring to. It is the one down the page for the fe166. I have read that the 166en requires a smaller enclosure with the ml-tqwt design but dint know if that also applied for this speaker. |
