that must be even better than the "painted on bird droppings" treatment. more it better! for "common" production drivers i thought the Fostex FE138ES-R looked nice, really liked the subtle multi-color cone. https://www.madisound.com/store/prod...oducts_id=8480 for something less common, i thought the MyEmia Lowther field coil conversions came out beautiful, especially the patined cooper... Although I've never heard the Feastrex , I think they are one of the best looking drivers.

I've heard a number of them,
really liked the small field coil version in the "Nessie" style box, although other versions/configurations were noticably "lacking" to my ears. As to looks, they always remind me of a cuspidor... |

I had to look up "cuspidor": a spittoon: a receptacle for spit (usually in a public place).
I'm disappointed there doesn't seem to be any Feastrex at RMAF this year Rocky Mountain Audiofest 2010
