Yes it is but it doesn't really fit the "frugal" theme. It makes them Not as Frugal Horns

I definitely notice a difference between the ply and MDF but not nearly 5x the price worth.
Flat paks should be plywood....

I'm using A-grade A-bond Hoop pine 19mm which is not cheap at $182 a sheet trade price
With all other costs that will make the kit $307 before postage without drivers or damping, if people are happy with that then I'm happy too. I would like to offer a cheaper option though.

Except for A7 which benefits from a thicker baffle, 15mm is fine.

We have done our initial run of flat paks at an intro price, they will probably go up to 260-275 in regular production.

15mm with 19mm baffle should bring it down to around that price too.
Will need to redo my CNC drawings yet again lol

I emailed Mark at Mark Audio and also asked him about the combo of the 2a3 and CHR-70. He wrote back and said the new upcoming version of the CHR-70 should work well with my 2a3.

But do we know how this new upcoming version of the CHR-70 will work in the Mk3???

Send me eMail (and money). 1st batch is a bit over half-subscribed.

Yes, my long suffering wife has, on occasion, discreetly closed a door or two at the other end of the house, finding the volume a bit much!!
3> wpc surprisingly drives the CHR-70's to very satisfying levels pour moi.
Sawdust is flying as we speak---- these: IMG_1694.jpg need a good home!
Dave's cone treatment must be seen and heard to be appreciated-- time for a fix!
Don
