Response for beta testing has been significant. Instead of trying to keep track & keep everyone updated i am going to throw it wide open.

I have created a thread specifically for the purpose of getting to the point where we have a comprehensive set of documents for diyers to be able to execute this speaker.

Please place posts appropriate in this thread, keeping general chatter here.

I have just posted an updated document & the SketchUp i did.

Hi,

If it is alright with you I would like to try building this as a flat-pack. You have mentioned several times the lack of anyone in Europe making flatpacks of the Frugel-Horn as a commercial venture.

Email sent as well.

Alan

We would encourage that.

email me. The cut plans as done would need some alteration for the larger tool bits typically used by a CNC

Are there any indications that there will be a replacement for the FF85k from Fostex ?

No. Except for Bezel size, one of the 2nd gen Alpair6 looks to be a good possibility to fill the niche (with deeper bass capabilities)
