Default wich enclosure for fostex's FX120

Hi (and again for those who reacently answered my threads)
Finally I bought a pair of FX120's at ebay. second hand and good price
I would like to ask if anybody recomends any simple design for them.
Up to know I 've seen some trasnmission's wich are too much for what I'm planing.
Thene there is the Fostex recomenede enclosure and also I've seen a double bass reflex enclosure recomended at the japanese fostex site. Is this last one okay?, I mean has any one done that one or similar?
Thanks again.

About the amp to pair with it is another subject wich I will search in another forum. May be a TA2020 amp6 would do...

You might consider a Metronome. I built a Met for the Fostex F120A. See post 597 of "The Metronome"
The Metronome

The FX120 should be a drop in replacement for the F120A. Note that I was disappointed with the sound of this build...until I put a tube amp on it, then WOW!

Cheers, Jim

There are already a couple miniOnken for the FX120, the dFonkenFX -- as small as i dared (nominal 10 litre) and Fonken-steen (2x the nominal volume). I have drawn a floorstander that pushes the limits of volume, but some of the construction is quite complex. I have the intention of retuning the FonkenPrime & Fonken167 for the FX120 (the latter to replace the earlier floorstander)

I could be wrong, but regardless of the chosen design, having heard a pair of FX120 in Jeff's Fonkenesque enclosures, I'd suspect they might reveal more about the TA2020 than you might care to know
