Not to mention that with a SET amp it's pretty much imperative that the cab be tuned to Fs to get the best transfer efficiency [broadband bass response], so the peak will be spread out some, but will still have a 'ringing' response if the vents aren't critically damped.

By making the box suitablly smaller. If i were doing a miniOnken it would be 18 litres. F10 ~50 hz.

It's sad but true that "Common Sense Audio" isn't. Measure the T/S of your dirver and design a proper cabinet for it.
