Default Collected Data FExx6e vrs FExx6En

Got my 1st FE126En the other day, Before putting them on the breakin bench i measured them

Out of the box measures vrs my last batch of FE126E. These had the standard couple hundred hours on the bench, so take the initial data with a grain of salt.

As far as visible differences, the new driver has gold solder tags and the magnet is 2mm smaller diameter. Label is different.

Its good to see that production tolerances have gotten tighten. Unfortunately Fostex still gives us parameters that are off: they give a lower Fs and a higher Vas, among other things.

Thanks,

Josh

Josh,

The sample size for the new drivers is not large enuff to male that conclusion. When i get the 1st 20 unit order, we'll be able to look at that.

Another comment i'd like to make: considering that breakin should move Fs down, Qms down, and Vas up, these units look like they will work in enclosures with little issue.
