Default ok here goes, first model of speaker design

This is just a tiny first model but I'm already starting on a new one -Want to use 2x jxr6s or similar for the real thing and decided on a symmetrical tapered TL to load each drive unit- the speakers will be approx 1.5 metres high and I'd make a sub to suit. Once I've decided on the shape I'll make a full size model, then the mould, will use unidirectional carbon fibre for the cabinets and stands will be in steel with a section that goes up into the lower part of the speaker to add support.

Default A Flying Wing!

Looks cool! Using the steel from the bottom will keep the thing stable while looking fast just sitting there. Keep us updated!

That does look cool. Only thing missing is the fuselage.

Thanks guys, need to get some tasty images done in Alias with all the detail etc - yesterday I showed the sketches to a guy who works in F1 and he likes the design and the carbon fibre route- he may be able to help me with production fingers crossed.

The fuselage will be the Sub! I'll make this in Corian and want it to look pretty radical
-thinking to use two jordan jx150s in a BR- the fo on these are 28 hz so two in a 60 litre cab should go down pretty low (how low?)
