Default Does the Miniwatt N2 look familiar?

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me, but the new Miniwatt N2 looks mighty familiar.

Yep, that's a "tweaked" CHR that I've built for Derek (Miniwatt). Hope folks like the speaks. I'm busy tonight building allot of drivers (tea break as I'm typing). I'll post the build pics on my section.
Cheers
Mark.

I'm curious too. Looks like a simple CHR70 BR bookshelf speaker but I'd imagine there is more to the design. If not, I need to raise the prices on my tower speakers.

italynstylon yours don't have the triangle on them... which perhaps should be magic to give the whole speaker a +/- 1db 40-25 at 88db...

Damping and coils. Derek designed the box so we optimised the driver to suit. The box has several radii, I gather it was quite a challenge to make. The tweaks were also done to work in with Derek's new Mini-amps.

Cheers

Mark.

Darn, we should know about these things more often. And they have tube amps as well.

Mark,

The std CHR70-III has about 86dB efficiency at 8ohm norminal, the MiniwattN2 has 88dB at 4ohm impedance. Will the latter driver be available to DIYers?
