Can't find much info on these drivers, specifically the metal cones- I think they are made in italy? The 3x looks interesting. Any owners here who can tell me what they are like ie sound, spl?

I did have some on order, but canceled it it. I had a pair of the larger 5S's which i really really like. For value, the little veravox 3 (3X seems to be a Solen exclusive) seem great. I believe they are now made by Omnes Audio as the BB3.AL, as veravox have stopped manufacturing iirc.

Yeah, might get a pair of the normal 3's sometime, decided on going all out on a new pair of the neodymium magnet Bandor 50mm's.
Simmilar price, the Fountek 88EX is another choice, then obviously the Fostex FF88K. I cant find any info on the 3X model, as i said, seems to be an exclusive to Solen. No mounting holes though. |
